You Have No Clue (Sermon Notes)

Jul 20, 2025    Apostle Tyronne McCreary

Sermon Title: You Have No Clue

Scripture Focus: Psalm 8:4-6, Romans 8:28, Psalm 139:1

Main Text – Psalm 8:4-6

“What is man that You are mindful of him…”

Man (Enosh) = frail, mortal, weak

Son of Man (Ben Adam) = identity, lineage, representation

This poetic parallelism emphasizes both frailty and divine function.

Progression of revelation: From humility → identity → purpose

Key Concepts

1. God’s Mindfulness

“Mindful” in Hebrew = to call into conscious attention

God gives deliberate, purposeful focus to man.

His attention is not casual but intentional, emotional, and eternal.

2. Visitation (Pakad)

God visits what He’s invested in—this is tied to care, inspection, intervention.

Examples:

Genesis 21:1 – God visited Sarah

Exodus 3:16 – God visited His people in Egypt

Ruth 1:6 – God visited to provide

God visits according to purpose, not feelings.

Romans 8:28 – “Called According to His Purpose”

Greek: Kaleo – to summon, appoint, invite

Hebrew: To name, proclaim, assign function

To be “called” is to be:

Named with purpose

Appointed with function

Activated to operate in divine design

Psalm 8:5-6 – “Crowned with Glory and Honor”

Glory (Kavod)

Crowned = Aṭar = to encircle, wrap, surround

Kaf – capacity to carry

Bet – house that hosts

Dalet – door that releases

Function: Carry the presence of God and release it in the earth

Honor

Visible dignity, expression of glory

Hey = revelation, breath – meant to be seen

Man was made not only to carry but to display God’s glory

Psalm 139:14 – “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”

Fearfully = awe-inspiring, reverent design

Wonderfully = divinely set apart, miraculous

Made as a divine statement of God’s power and creativity

Our lives are masterpieces meant to reveal the Creator

Closing Charge

You were created to function as Adam—a door between heaven and earth.

Stop living beneath your design. Realize what God has crowned you with.

Revelation must lead to application.

When people see your life aligned with God’s purpose, they’ll see God.

Don’t wait for heaven—live like heaven is here through you.
